The position playsan important rolein shaping high-quality financial reporting for global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial information for internal stakeholders to support management and regulatory reporting needs
- Provide clear explanations of financial results, trends, and drivers to finance partners, leadership, and auditors
- Assistwith audit inquiries and ensure documentation supports internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
Cost & Allocation Support
- Support recurring cost allocation processes across Principal Asset Management products and business units
- Ensure allocations are completed accurately andtimelyin accordance withapproved methodologies
- Assistwithmaintainingdocumentation of assumptions along with factors supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and transfer pricing analysis
Process Improvement & Systems
- Seek opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate accounting and reporting processes
- Support implementation or enhancement of financial systems, tools, and ERP functionality
- Recommend improvements to procedures, methodologies, and documentation to strengthen efficiency and controls
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance and Business Support teams to gather data,validateassumptions, and resolve issues
- Communicate outcomes and impacts to stakeholders with clarity and professionalism
- Assistwith special projects, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives as needed
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- CPA or other applicable certifications preferred
- Experience supporting financial reporting, analysis, or cost management activities preferred
- This position may require successful completion of a criminal background check
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range$73150 - $99750 / year
Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees dont accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
