Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field; or Associate Degree + 15 years of accounting experience.
• 6-10 years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint needed.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Experience with Oracle or similar general ledger software is a plus.
• Healthcare industry knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for CentraCare Health entities.
• Produce timely financial reports collaborating with accounting staff and departments.
• Research and apply complex accounting guidance as needed.
• Demonstrate advanced level knowledge of US GAAP in daily duties.
• Prepare and review accounting documentation to ensure compliance.
• Assist in improving accounting processes and workflows.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff when necessary.
