Account Supervisor

As an Account Supervisor, you are the day-to-day owner of the client relationship and a key connector across the agency. You serve as the liaison between clients and cross-functional teams-helping translate direction, guide execution, and keep work moving forward smoothly and compliantly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of the relationship, partnering closely with others, and ensuring great work gets delivered with clarity and confidence.
In this role, you will be deeply involved in medical advertising execution, making hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or medical advertising-and a solid understanding of the regulatory environment-essential. You'll play a key role in bringing tactics to life, confidently shepherding work through the MLR process, and partnering closely with clients and internal teams. Throughout it all, you'll maintain a calm, confident presence that builds trust, keeps work moving forward, and reflects the energy and optimism of a growing agency.
Work Environment & Location
This role is hybrid, with a preference for candidates who can work from our Holmdel, NJ office two days per week. We will prioritize hybrid candidates; however, we are open to remote consideration for the right candidate with the appropriate healthcare advertising agency experience and a strong track record of collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates, budget trackers, monthly reconciliations, and invoicing, including approvals and revisions
- Demonstrate strong understanding of client phasing and internal forecasting
- Partner with senior account leadership and project management to ensure accurate project phasing and budget management
- Develop internal forecasts and work with teams to ensure financial targets are met
Client & Account Leadership
- Own the day-to-day client relationship, serving as a trusted and consistent point of contact
- Act as the liaison between clients and cross-functional agency teams (strategy, medical, creative, project management)
- Build trust through transparent, timely communication and strong follow-through
- Lead client meetings and present tactical recommendations, with support from senior account and strategy partners as needed
- Weigh in on the content and execution of routed materials to ensure alignment with briefs
- Drive tactical planning and contribute to annual brand planning
- Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing client business
- Draft initial Quarterly Business Review (QBR) decks with oversight and ensure QBRs are scheduled annually
- Mentor and support junior team members in their development
Medical Advertising & Compliance
- Bring a strong working knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical advertising to all aspects of the work
- Own and manage MLR submissions, including routing, documentation, review feedback, and revisions
- Partner with medical, legal, regulatory, and internal teams to ensure work is compliant and accurately executed
Brand, Market & Category Acumen
- Maintain an informed perspective on the brand, therapeutic category, and competitive landscape
- Develop a strong understanding of brand clinical data, messaging, and strategic imperatives
- Review creative work to ensure consistency in messaging, credibility, and brand alignment
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality campaigns

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4-7 years of experience in medical or pharmaceutical advertising
- Working knowledge of the MLR process and healthcare promotional regulations
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
