THE ROLE

M&C Saatchi World Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Supervisor to lead the delivery of strategic communications and social impact campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients, programs, and initiatives.

As a key member of the account leadership team, you will oversee complex projects from strategy through execution, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards of quality, creativity, and effectiveness. Working closely with clients, strategists, creatives, researchers, and production teams, you will help shape campaign direction, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive successful program outcomes.

This role is ideal for a communications professional who combines strong project leadership with strategic thinking, exceptional client management skills, and a passion for delivering meaningful impact.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, a mentor to junior team members, and a collaborative partner across disciplines, helping to ensure campaigns achieve both creative excellence and measurable results. This is a hybrid role; however, the ideal candidate will live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day management and delivery of communications campaigns, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee large-scale and integrated campaign production efforts, including digital, multimedia, and content-driven initiatives.
  • Guide the development of project briefs, campaign plans, presentations, and client deliverables in partnership with strategy and creative teams.
  • Ensure all work aligns with campaign objectives, audience needs, and client expectations while maintaining a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, timelines, and workflow processes to support efficient delivery.
  • Prepare and contribute to fee proposals, scopes of work, and project planning discussions. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for day-to-day account management.
  • Anticipate client needs, proactively identify opportunities, and help navigate challenges through strategic guidance and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate closely with strategists, creatives, researchers, and producers to ensure integrated and effective campaign execution.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development support to junior team members while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Monitor account processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, and ways of working.
  • Support business growth by identifying opportunities for additional work, developing proposals, and contributing to client discussions.
  • Contribute to agency initiatives, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration efforts that strengthen organizational capability and culture.
  • Track project performance and campaign effectiveness, ensuring work delivers against objectives and client expectations.

  • Ability to travel internationally and work independently when required.
  • Must possess, be eligible to obtain, and be willing to maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Eligibility Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen (required by government contract).
• Clearance Eligibility: Must be able and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret security clearance immediately upon employment.
• Background Screening: Must be willing to submit to a rigorous federal background investigation, which includes an in-depth review of personal finances, criminal history, employment history, and drug use.

The salary range provided reflects the anticipated compensation for this role across our Washington, DC and New York locations. Actual starting salary will be determined based on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
