The Role
Melville, NY / Hybrid (3 days in office)
As an Account Supervisor, you will be the key relationship manager for the client. You will be responsible for both strategy and execution, and manage a group of accounts. This position requires marketing planning and skills that are necessary for making proactive suggestions to grow a client's business.This role will also draw on project management skills, including project briefing, scope and management.
- Managing the client relationship and acting as the lead point of contact
- Developing a deep understanding of each client's business, industry, and competition.
- Bringing strategic and innovative ideas to clients and working with the EGC team to execute them.
- Leading weekly client status calls, quarterly business reviews, and other client meetings.
- Leading the development of integrated marketing plans across multiple channels.
- Interpreting results from various analytics sources to ensure that each client's goals are being met, and being able to identify areas for improvement.
- Seeking opportunities to advance the client relationship and identify new business opportunities.
- Managing overall account profitability, including approving and tracking agency hours and identifying potential issues, as well as opportunities.
- Serving as quality control for all deliverables.
- Guiding the client through the media landscape, serving as a consultant on industry changes and news.
Qualifications
- 5-to-7 years' experience working in a mid-sized advertising agency environment
- Experience working with consumer and retail brands, B2B, healthcare or higher ed
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Analytical and logical; standard strategic marketing skills (competitive assessment, industry analysis, SWOT, etc.)
- Experience in Google Analytics
