About Role:

We're seeking an Account Services Representative (ASR) to join our small team of talented Revenue Generating and Operation specialists that are working to maximize profitable revenue and provide best in class support to the larger Sales organization. This ASR role will report to the Director of Advertising Sales, as part of the larger Revenue Operations/Sales organization. The ASR will have the opportunity to help create and position compelling media proposals in an effort to drive revenue growth & provide best in class customer service to the Sales organization.

As a member of the Sales team here at Vevo, you'll be working alongside super talented individuals that will both inspire you and challenge you to think about things like strategic sales planning, inventory forecasting/utilization, and ad product pricing/packaging in ways you hadn't imagined. We often take time as a team to review new industry trends and advancements, and think critically about various things happening in the world around us that may impact the ways we decide to be more strategic as a team overall. We have a phenomenal team made up of accomplished individuals from Inventory Analysts, Campaign Managers to Sales Operations specialists, and we're excited about having you join us!

As a member of this team, you will:

  • Create & revise compelling and sellable media proposals in the pre-sale process
  • Have a knowledge of all historical rates by client for proposal creation
  • Attend all necessary RFP brainstorm meetings to provide insight on pricing, packaging and inventory requirements for media proposals
  • Play integral role in the Sales Prospecting process
  • Ensure all data is accurately entered and updated in Salesforce & Operative
  • Manage that AE pipeline stages are consistent within each system
  • Submit, review and Single Sign IOs in accordance with planning & Vevo policy/procedure
  • Handle post-sale revisions to booked placements which include any targeting changes or re-expressions and budget shifts
  • Forecast inventory availability for Takeovers and Rotational media
  • Manage Go-To Market packaging & premiere tracking
  • Manage upfront rates & upfront spend tracking
  • Work with Sales and Ad Ops in managing any delivery issues and propose inventory solutions
  • Manage the artist list creation & discussions with client in coordination with Inventory & Sales, including ComScore Artist Pulls/Rankers
  • Manage nationwide project initiatives such as proactive packaging, Premieres, Audience Guarantee.
  • Make strategic pricing decisions in the Scatter market with Management oversight and guidance

$66,300 - $663,020 a year

The base salary for this position is: $66,300 per year. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York Salary Transparency Law.

This is a full-time position based on-site/in our New York office. Vevo currently operates in a hybrid work model and requires all employees, who have not been designated as remote to be in the office/studio a minimum of 3 days a week.

About Vevo

Vevo is an American multinational video hosting service, best known for providing music videos to YouTube. The service is also available as an app on selected smart TVs, digital video recorders, digital media players and streaming television services. The service once offered a consumer mobile and tablet app, however this was shut down in May 2018 to allow the service to focus on its other platforms. The service was founded on June 16, 2009, as a joint venture among three major record companies: Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and EMI. In August 2016, Warner Music Group, the world's third-largest record company, agreed to license premium videos from its artists to Vevo. Initially, the service hosted only music videos from Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, syndicated on YouTube and its app, and the advertising revenue was shared by Google and Vevo. EMI also licensed its library of videos to Vevo shortly before its launch and its acquisition by UMG in 2012. Originally, Warner Music Group was reported to be considering hosting its content on the service after it launched, but formed an alliance with rival MTV Networks. In August 2015, Vevo expressed renewed interest in licensing music from WMG and a deal with WMG was completed on August 2, 2016, making the entirety of the "big three" record companies' music available on Vevo.
