As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow Mid-Market GovTech accounts in the US. You will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for a set list of accounts, drive revenue growth, and set the vision for how AWS partners with our customers to reshape the industry.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with assigned GovTech accounts. Foster partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Organization, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers' most complex business and technical challenges.
- Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
- Identify transformational opportunities, de-risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.
- Accelerate customer adoption & develop long-term relationships with key accounts
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development experience
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
- Experience in cloud, infrastructure, data, analytics, and AI/ML with ability to translate technology into strategic business outcomes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
- Experience personally closing large complex deals end-to-end
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
