Job Title:Account Manager - Urethane Additives RMS
Summary:This role is responsible for driving profitable, sustainable sales growth while managing and expanding a designated Urethane Additives portfolio in North America. The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, motivation, strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, sound decision-making, and a commitment to customer ownership. The position requires quickly developing deep expertise in the Urethane Additives portfolio-including rigid, molded, and specialty products-along with the related technology, industry landscape, and applications to build strong customer and market understanding.
This is a fully remote position; however, the ideal candidate will reside in a location east of the Mississippi River.
Responsibilities Include:- Responsible for sales growth for RMS Urethane Additives (Specialties) business in the eastern half the US.
- Manage day to day customer needs, inquiries, orders coordination and account support ensuring high service levels.
- Work with Marketing/R&D team to support customers' technical needs.
- Identify the business opportunities/risk and strategy.
- Manage performance metrics like forecasting, volume, revenue, MOM$, new target close, new product introductions (NPI).
- Work closely with customers to understand technical applications and promote the right UA products for both new and existing programs.
- Prepare and present sales reports and account plans as necessary, utilizing Momentive systems such as SAP, Arkieva (Forecast tool) and SFA.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations and EH&S standards at all interactions.
Qualifications:The following are required for the role- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, a chemistry-related field, or Business.
- At least 2 years of relevant commercial experience in sales, customer service or commercial support within the chemical or manufacturing sector.
- Technical service/business development may be combined with sales experience.
- Knowledge or aptitude to learn technical product portfolio (Urethane Additives).
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and lateral thinker capable to use ideas and concepts from past experiences to solve problems.
- Strong decision making and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
- Fluency in English is needed
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelors/Masters/PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering or a chemistry related field.
- Exposure to polyurethane, coatings or specialty chemicals markets.
- In-depth understanding of Urethane Additives market trends, customers, major players, and technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, CRM and SAP is a plus.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and collaborative team contributor.

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $74,700 - $109,560
The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable.
