Research Triangle Park area (Remote)

We are looking for an Account Manager - Pharma Solutions to join our Nutrition & Health team in the Research Triangle Park area.

As an Account Manager within BASF Pharma Solutions, you are a front-line growth driver with a clear hunting mandate. You thrive on competition, move with urgency, and take full ownership for outcomes. You challenge customers, competitors, and internal conventions to win share, open new markets, and accelerate profitable growth.

  • Own account planning, opportunity management, forecasting, and execution using Salesforce (CRM, pipeline, visits, samples).

  • Bring market, customer, and competitor intelligence back into the organization to strengthen BASF's go-to-market approach.


If you...

  • Hold a bachelors degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, chemical engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Possess 10 years of experience in sales, account management, or related within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bring proven success in new business development or account management within pharmaceuticals, biopharma, life sciences, or specialty chemicals.
  • Have demonstrated strength in competitive selling and negotiation, including winning business against entrenched incumbents.
  • Possess strong executive presence and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Are comfortable operating in ambiguity with the ability to make fast, informed decisions.
  • Are willing to travel within the U.S. territory to win and grow business.
