Summary

As an Account Manager - KNN Partner Development and Success, you will work independently under the direction of the KNN Senior Manager, Partner Development and Success, and in collaboration with team members to manage a portfolio of long-term KNN partner accounts at institutions across the health ecosystem. Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts, managing all stages of the partner journey from onboarding and goal setting through implementation, support, reporting and renewal. Serve as both a trusted advisor to and internal advocate for KNN partners. This role requires you to travel regularly within the United State for in-person partner engagements.

All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, and UT.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain relationships with a range of stakeholders at partner institutions
  • Lead onboarding for new partners, including orienting key stakeholders, co-creating partnership goals and success measures, and establishing communication norms
  • Plan and lead partner meetings, Discovery visits, and other partner engagements, both virtually and in-person
  • Conduct structured needs assessments with partners to understand institutional context, readiness, barriers, and priorities
  • Translate partner needs into clear recommendations for collaborative projects
  • Oversee all projects under an account; delegate execution tasks (administrative support) to Coordinators and collaborate with SMEs across the KNN program office
  • Produce high-quality written deliverables, including partner assessment and recommendation reports, partnership proposals, and project plans.
  • Monitor partner health throughout the partner journey by surfacing risks early and coordinating internal resources to address them
  • Connect partners to one another and to relevant KNN resources, facilitating relationship-building across the Network
  • Represent the KNN at national convenings and conferences
  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

  • Demonstrated success managing external relationships, accounts, partnerships, or member institutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging senior leaders in academic and/or clinical settings with credibility and poise
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent accounts and deadlines with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Strong written communication skills, including experience authoring proposals, needs assessments, partnership reports, or similar
  • Experience gathering and synthesizing information to assess needs and make recommendations


Qualifications

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Required Experience: 6 years

Preferred Education: Master's degree in a relevant field (education, public health, higher education administration, business administration, health administration, or similar)

Preferred Experience: 6 or more years of experience working in academic medicine, health professions education, health systems, or organizations serving them. Ability to maintain a fast pace and manage multiple demands under pressure by prioritizing, leading with collaboration, being resourceful and communicative and results-oriented. Self-starter who takes initiative with exceptional organizational and time management skills, and who works efficiently with minimum supervision. Mission-aligned to the ultimate aims of the KNN and comfortable operating adaptably in an environment of continuous improvement as the Partner Development and Success team evolves over time. High level of relational service orientation with the ability to problem-solve independently.

Physical Requirements

Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.

Sensory Acuity

Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects. #LI_NK1

Target salary range for this position is between $75,300 - $95,900 annually. The final offered salary will depend on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and knowledge, as well as considerations of internal equity and market alignment.
