Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a qualified Account Manager in the Chicagoland area. As an Account Manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to enabling our customers to solve complex technical problems through a solutions-based sales approach. Product categories that enable our customers to succeed include spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and communication test systems.
Your tasks - Develop the sales of named accounts in the Chicagoland area and possible surrounding states
- Find/cultivate new customer relationships that develop into lasting partnerships
- Expand and grow existing customer relationships
- Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions
- Grow market share and exceed quota
- Build and manage a strong sales funnel
- Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements
Your qualifications - BSEE (or equivalent technical education)
- 10+ years of technical sales experience with large named accounts
- A passion for helping people solve problems and an intense focus on customer service
- An understanding of trending electronic industry technologies, standards and applications.
- Self-motivated to learn and understand internal and customer processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Embraces and thrives in an environment of change, especially with respect to new technology
- Ability to travel regularly within the sales territory in addition to some national and international travel

The total compensation for this position is $100K-$220K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
