Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books and records for high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held entities, including general ledger maintenance and bank, credit card, and investment account reconciliations.

  • Track, reconcile, and support reporting for investment accounts, including brokerage, alternative, and private investments.

  • Prepare monthly client reporting packages, financial statements, and supporting schedules.

  • Process bill pay, invoices, wires, ACH transactions, deposits, and payroll accurately and on time, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

  • Monitor cash balances and assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting.

  • Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity, resolve discrepancies, and communicate with vendors regarding billing questions and outstanding items.

  • Journalize asset acquisitions, dispositions, and other accounting transactions, as appropriate.

  • Assist with preparing 1099 support, workers' compensation audit information, and other client financial schedules, as needed.

  • Provide responsive, high-touch client service while serving as a day-to-day point of contact for routine client and vendor inquiries.

  • Collaborate with senior team members on more complex accounting matters, special projects, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Support Assistant Account Managers and Account Manager I team members by answering questions and sharing knowledge, as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, family offices, business management clients, or private clients.

  • Experience managing accounting responsibilities across multiple client relationships simultaneously.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and the ability to analyze and organize financial data.

  • Experience working with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar ERP platforms.

  • Experience processing accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and cash management activities.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines while delivering exceptional client service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sage Intacct preferred.

  • Experience supporting multiple high-net-worth clients or family office relationships preferred.

  • Experience with investment accounting, alternative investments, or closely held entities is a plus.
