Job Overview

If you're a sales professional who thrives underground as much as in the boardroom, this role puts you at the center of Sudbury's Hard Rock mining business. You'll own key customer relationships, solve complex challenges, and drive growth in one of the most dynamic mining regions in Canada. This is your chance to combine technical knowhow with strategic account leadership-and make a measurable impact with customers who rely on you to keep their operations moving.

Reports to: Hard Rock Commercial Manager
Shift: 5x2- Monday-Friday
Safety Sensitive: No- RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: up to 75% travel within Canada Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, managing all aspects of the customer relationship
  • Prepare and deliver quotations for products, contracts, and parts supply
  • Resolve customer challenges quickly, including product availability, planning, and invoicing
  • Build strong internal partnerships with sales, service, parts, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and conditions
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Present market trends, product updates, and technical information during customer and product review meetings


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree or certification in business, marketing, or communications is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of underground hard rock mining equipment, with basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical understanding
  • Experience in underground mining applications is an advantage
  • Proven success in customer relations, account management, or technical sales
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and build value-driven proposals
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Bilingual in French and English an asset
  • Valid class G driver's license with clean abstract and the ability to access any mine without restriction
