What you are responsible for:
  • Own the Supplier Relationship: Serve as the single threaded leader for a top-tier equipment supplier across commercial, delivery, quality, and service dimensions; facilitate executive business reviews and quarterly operating cadences. Manages a large, highly visible strategic supplier relation, often with senior leadership/executive contacts to drive value through strategic sourcing decisions and align philosophical business partnership and working model across both companies.
  • Align on Technology and Capacity Roadmaps: Coordinate with Process/Manufacturing Engineering and the supplier on tool/variant selection, upgrades, and lifecycle planning; integrate qualification timelines with fab ramp plans.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Define and track KPIs (OTD, cycle time, install-to-accept, MTBF/MTTR, cost, quality/defect rates, parts availability); drive structured corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate and Manage Commercials: Lead pricing, terms, lead-time, payment, warranty, spares/service agreements, and long-term supply arrangements; ensure compliance to master agreements and capitalize on volume leverage. Create robust negotiation strategies and cost targeting through understanding of market dynamics, industry benchmarking, and key trends.
  • Cost and Value Delivery: Lead total cost of ownership (TCO) initiatives-capex optimization, spares/consumables strategies, field service models, reuse and extend-use programs, and performance-based contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate internal stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, PMO, Finance, Legal) to resolve issues, approve changes (ECOs), and land decisions; drive clarity in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
  • Data-Driven Business Management: Maintain accurate demand signals, install/qualification schedules, and supply commits; use dashboards and analytics to anticipate constraints and inform trade-off decisions.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, ESG/Responsible Sourcing standards, trade compliance, and contractual obligations.
  • People management: Drive results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.
