Full Job Description
Job Purpose

Serve as the frontline salesperson with responsibility for the execution of agreed sales and profitability targets established by the business within the assigned sales area by developing new business and expanding the business with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, in a designated area, to execute sales plan.
  • Independently prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions.
  • Screen customer base for new opportunities. Will generate leads and maintain pipeline.
  • Provide appropriate and agreed levels of contact, service and support to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Monitor sales against agreed targets on a regular basis to ensure they are met and where necessary the need for remedial actions are identified, reported and implemented.
  • Collect, report and analyze customer feedback information on present as well as future market trends in the context of possible further market penetration.
  • Promote the positive company image and develops long-term relations with the customers.


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in commercial roles, sales and key account management or sales to strategic accounts in paints and powder coatings, business-to-business industry, or related field. Must possess understanding of cross functional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve.
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage projects, create value propositions, and drive results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%. Overnight travel may be required.
  • Must be able to participate and complete a qualitative and quantitative respirator fit test with the ability to use a respirator as required.
  • Must be fluent in English.

  • Houston, Texas and surrounding areas


Rewards and Benefits

The salary range for these skills is $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 based upon experience. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.

This position is also eligible for an annual bonus target of 35%, based on individual and company performance.
