Team Mission

We're looking for a driven, resilient and results-oriented Account Executive to strengthen our expert Sales Team in San Francisco. This is a high-energy, sales role: you'll bring new tour, activity and attraction operators onto GetYourGuide's platform, and act as the local on how that market is responding to our growth initiatives. You will focus on building and managing a high-performing sales pipeline, negotiating optimal terms, and driving supplier acquisition across the US & Canada, directly impacting millions of travellers while advancing GetYourGuide's position in the experience industry.
Your Mission
  • Target, identify, and onboard new suppliers, primarily tour and experience providers as well as attractions, Present in-person and online demos of GetYourGuide's products
  • Educate operators on trends shaping the industry and give them insight on how to adapt, encouraging them to think differently about their business
  • Effectively manage the entire sales funnel, including outreach, negotiation, closing and onboarding, to consistently hit and exceed quota
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align supplier acquisition with broader business goals, ensuring sustainable growth
  • Represent GetYourGuide at relevant industry events to drive acquisition and build credibility
  • Listen closely to what operators want and feed that insight back to senior management
  • Regularly travel (up to 25%) to build strong relationships with suppliers in destination and create long-term partnerships
Your Toolkit
  • 2+ years of outbound B2B sales experience, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota, (technology or travel industry sales a plus)
  • Competitive, tenacious and results driven, with the resilience to thrive under pressure and against ambitious goals
  • You excel at handling objections, reframing conversations with insights, and creating constructive tension to close challenging deals.
  • You bring strong problem-solving skills, using data to prioritize actions and inform decisions.
  • Fluent level English, with strong communication, presentation & negotiation skills, able to articulate value clearly across diverse audiences
  • Knowledgeable about the travel industry, able to use that expertise to talk credibly with Tour operators & Attractions
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to assess opportunities, read prospective buyers and use data to prioritise and persuade
  • Confident using CRM (Salesforce) and sales enablement tools, to Collaborative by nature, sharing best practices with peers and helping lift the wider team
  • Willing to work from the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
