Full Job Description
We are hiring a true hunter to own San Francisco/East Bay. This is a field-first role. You will be in market daily, walking restaurants, pulling doors, and building relationships on both sides of the Bay - the Mission, North Beach, Hayes Valley, SoMa, the Richmond and the Sunset, then across the bridge to Uptown and Temescal in Oakland, North Berkeley, and Alameda. If you run on autonomy, love the grind of territory ownership, and close on discipline, not luck, this role was built for you. This is a field-first, neighborhood-by-neighborhood role. Expect to be in market daily, on both sides of the Bay. Buyer: SMB restaurant owners and multi-location operators. Sales cycle: Typically under 30 days, often much faster. Environment: High-velocity, field-heavy, outbound-driven. You are selling directly to decision-makers who care about revenue, guest experience, and long-term growth. Popmenu is not a nice-to-have. It is a revenue platform restaurants rely on to compete. Bay Area operators run on some of the thinnest margins in the country. Rent, labor, and delivery commissions leave no room for technology that does not pay for itself. That works in your favor. These are sophisticated, ROI-literate buyers who move fast when the math is real. It is also the most competitive restaurant-technology market in the country, which means you win on hustle, credibility, and knowing your product cold. Compensation • Base: $85,000 to $95,000 • OTE: $170,000+ • 50% base / 50% commission • Uncapped earnings • Mileage/travel reimbursement Requirements What You'll Do • Own the San Francisco/East Bay territory (must live in territory) • Be in the field weekly, pulling doors, visiting operators, and building your presence in the local restaurant community • Manage your territory with precision: know your accounts, your coverage plan, and your numbers at all times • Build and work your own pipeline through calls, email, in-person visits, networking, and industry events • Run high-energy demos that clearly articulate ROI and create urgency • Close consistently in a short sales cycle without hand-holding or heavy oversight • Partner with your regional team on messaging, strategy, and market feedback • Sell with integrity: no overpromising, no poor-fit deals Who You Are This role is not for someone who needs structure handed to them. You are the structure. • Field-first mentality: you default to in-person and you are energized by it • Hyper-organized with a clear system for managing territory, activity, and pipeline • Numbers-driven: you know your math of sales, you track your metrics, and you hold yourself accountable • Autonomous operator who does not wait to be told what to do next • Gritty and determined: you push through rejection, compete daily, and stay locked in • Solution-oriented: when something is not working, you adjust and keep moving • Relationship-builder who understands that hospitality is a small world and reputation travels fast - nowhere more than here • Proven outbound hunter with strong SMB closing experience • Salesforce experience required • Comfortable with daily in-market presence across both sides of the Bay Background in SaaS, restaurant tech, food service, fast food management, or hospitality operations is a strong plus. You do not have to come from food. You have to be built for it. Benefits What We're Serving • Genuine Core Values with quarterly peer recognition through our Super Booms • Giving Back with company donations to causes chosen by team members • Visible Growth and Development in a scaling SaaS company • Company Ownership with meaningful equity for every employee • Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and Wagmo Wellness Plan for your pets If you are ready to own the Bay, build something meaningful, and get paid for performance, we would love to meet you.
