Role SummaryAt NECI, Account Executives help industrial organizations design, implement, and optimize mission-critical automation and process control systems. This role is suited for a motivated seller with process control industry experience who enjoys working alongside engineers and selling technically complex solutions that directly impact safety, reliability, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect, engage, and win new customers within a defined territory
- Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and service teams to design and position customer-centric solutions
- Build trusted relationships with operations, engineering, IT, and business stakeholders
- Drive opportunities through the full sales lifecycle from discovery through close
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting, and opportunity management in Salesforce
- Deliver high-quality customer interactions including presentations, solution positioning, and proposal development
- Travel regionally (up to approximately 50%) to support customer engagement
Measures of Success:- Consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets
- Building a healthy pipeline of greenfield opportunities within the process industries
- Demonstrating growing technical and commercial fluency in assigned solutions
- Earning trust as a reliable, knowledgeable, and collaborative sales partner
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 3-5 years of sales experience within the process control, industrial automation, or related industrial technology industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience supporting or closing complex, solution-based sales cycles
- Ability to proactively prospect and develop greenfield new business
- Confidence engaging customers at multiple levels of the organization
- Strong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Working knowledge of CRM tools; Salesforce experience preferred

This position offer a base salary of $75,000 to $100,000
