Full Job Description
You'll lead Luma's entry into the Entertainment vertical, placing our technology at the heart of major studios, production houses, and agencies, and defining how creative AI gets sold into production workflows. This is a full-cycle closing role for a Hollywood insider.

You'll build the Entertainment sales motion using your existing industry network rather than running a pre-existing playbook - mapping production workflows across pre-vis, on-set, and post, and closing complex, multi-threaded studio deals. It fits a seller energized by building a new territory. If you need an established territory and process, this isn't it.

What You'll Own
  • Build and run the full-cycle sales motion for Entertainment, from prospecting and pipeline to closing first key accounts.
  • Engage your existing network of decision-makers across studios, production houses, and talent agencies.
  • Run deep-dive workshops mapping production workflows (pre-vis, on-set, post) to show where Luma creates value.
  • Navigate complex enterprise deals: proposals, objections, and MSAs that make Luma indispensable.
  • Funnel market intel and studio feedback back to Product and Engineering.

First 90 Days

One way the first 90 could unfold.
  • Days 1-30 - Immerse & Diagnose: Learn Luma's technology and the studios' workflows, and open doors with your network.
  • Days 30-60 - Ship & Validate: Run discovery and POCs and move first key accounts toward close.
  • Days 60-90 - Scale & Systemize: Close early deals and shape the Entertainment playbook.

What You Bring
  • 6+ years in a closing role exceeding quota (ideally $1M+ ARR), selling directly into entertainment.
  • A strong existing network and deep fluency in the Hollywood ecosystem - studios, production companies, VFX houses, and talent agencies (CAA, UTA, WME).
  • Mastery of the full, outbound-heavy (60%+) sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, POCs, procurement, and complex closes.
  • Fluency in the language of production: pre-vis, on-set VFX, editorial, and pipeline tools.

Nice to Have
  • You took a startup into the entertainment vertical and made it a core revenue stream.
  • A network of producers, VFX supervisors, and studio tech leads who trust you.
  • Experience as an agent or in business development at a top-tier talent agency or studio.
