Full Job Description
Role context

This role sits on the Asset Intelligence team within Revenue. The team sells the products that connect MaintainX to machine data: OT connectors, vibration and general sensor integrations, and operator licenses. Hardware comes from our partners. We connect to it, run the integration and diagnostics, and turn what the machines are saying into work.

The role

You will be the technical sales specialist for Asset Intelligence, working alongside account managers to bring these products to customers who already run maintenance on MaintainX.
  • Build the business case for Asset Intelligence in each account, tying a customer's downtime and maintenance costs to the products that address them, so buyers can say yes with confidence.
  • Run technical discovery with maintenance and reliability leaders to find the machines and failure modes, such as bearing wear, lubrication issues and misalignment, where condition monitoring pays off.
  • Demo the products and lead the technical conversation through to close, bringing in a solution consultant when a deal needs deeper scoping.
  • Work a high-volume book of smaller deals and keep CRM clean, so the team can forecast with confidence.
  • Share what you hear in the field with Product and Marketing to sharpen how Asset Intelligence is positioned.

You will partner with an account manager on every deal, share the territory with a more senior overlay AE, as part of our Asset Intelligence team. Expect to be in front of customers in person at least once a quarter. Within your first year, you are fully ramped, running your own pipeline, and the person account managers call first when a customer asks about sensors or condition monitoring.

About you
  • 3+ years selling technical solutions to maintenance, reliability or operations leaders in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • A working grasp of how machines fail and how monitoring catches it early. You do not need to be an analyst.
  • A record of meeting quota in a role with a technical or specialist component.
  • Comfort leading a demo and a business-case conversation with both operations and technical stakeholders.
  • The pipeline discipline to manage many opportunities at once and forecast them accurately.
  • Willingness to work from our Raleigh office at least two days a week and to travel to customers.

Nice to have:
  • Experience selling predictive maintenance through vibration analysis.
  • Background in CMMS, EAM, APM, industrial IoT or condition monitoring software.
  • Digital transformation or value-consulting experience.
  • Proven track record using MEDDPICC

What we offer

Work that shows up in the physical world. What you sell keeps factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses running. When it works, a line stays up and a technician goes home on time.

A product the industry already loves. You are adding to something that wins, with customers who renew and expand.

Autodesk scale, same mission. The resources of a profitable public company, pointed at the problem we were already solving.

An early seat. Asset Intelligence is new, and the team is small enough that you can name the parts you own.
Values and how we work

We reward output and promote quickly when people deliver. We hire for what you have sold and shipped, not what your title was. You get autonomy and the trust to use it, and we expect you to be responsive when a customer or teammate needs you.

Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build.

Compensation and benefits. Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. For roles in the United States, Autodesk's benefits are described at benefits.autodesk.com. For roles in Canada and other countries, the plan differs on health coverage, retirement and leave, and your recruiter will walk you through it.

Belonging. We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging. More on where this is going: Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost on building the future of connected operations, and AOS SVP Stephen Hooper on welcoming MaintainX to Autodesk.
