Job Summary

Account Executives perform more complex responsibilities and are primary points of contact for the clients they oversee. Theyare responsible fordeveloping action plans to reach client goals and suggest potential upgrades to grow or diversify clientportfolioas well as working closely with the sales team to helpacquirenew clients. Significant professional experience in account management and/or sales is necessary for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop action plans to reach client goals and suggest potential upgrades to grow or diversify clientportfolios.

  • Works closely with the sales team to helpacquirenew clients.

  • Plan, develop, and deliver retention plans that protect, grow, anddiversify relationshipswith clients.

  • Prepare and market new and renewal submissions.in conjunction with sales and service team.

  • Work with insurance carriers to secure quotes and verify required specifications.

  • Continue to manage and service a Commercial Lines book of business.

  • Review and process various documents including policies, endorsements, and invoices.

  • Document all activities inthe agencymanagement system.

  • Prepare clear and concise proposals to effectively communicate marketing results with clients.

  • Ensuretimelycompletion ofexpirationlist items.

  • Coordinate resources, negotiate contracts and agreements, and monitor account performance.

  • Adhere to andcomply withorganization policies and procedures, sales and service standards and established workflows.

  • Demonstrate effective and efficient quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance tocomply withorganization errors and omission standards.

  • Contributor to regional carrier relationships; ensuring professional interactionswithoperations.

Requirements:

  • Active Property & Casualty License.

  • Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management software

  • Strong organizational skills-the abilityto discern priority and initiative.

  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong people skills

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions and deal with a variety of variablesfurnishedin written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Able to apply principles of insurance to various situations,demonstratinghow a range of situations may be affected by the principles of insurance.

  • EPIC experience is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree.

  • 5+ years as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar experience

  • CPCU or special training course completion is a plus.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $200,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
