Full Job Description
As an Account Director, you will serve be responsible for the hands-on planning, management, implementation, and financial oversight of specific client programs with a focus and passion for patient storytelling. You will serve as the daily client lead for at least one client, manage assigned projects independently, and participate in new business efforts. This is a hybrid role out of our New York City or Philadelphia office reporting to a Senior Vice President. You Will: Client Partnership • Develop and cultivate relationships with clients and external audiences • Thoughtfully counsel clients based on communications landscape and business goals, showcasing ability to marry communications/PR tactics up to client's broader strategy; take immediate action on client feedback • Proactively direct planning and execution of projects ensuring timeliness, efficiency and high-quality delivery of results • Play a major part in drafting client communications materials, such as emails, project proposals, newsletters, research and results reports, press releases/materials, video scripts, social media content, etc. • Possess skills necessary to handle issues management, mobilize teams to respond to issues and provide strategically sound recommendations to clients on how to address issues • Lead and oversee development of client budgets and SOWs, track monthly financials for each client, and mentos mid-to-junior level staff on financials • Lead key aspects of client interactions and liaise with external partners Business Development & Operations • Research, develop, and present new business proposals • Participate in organic/new business pitches with confidence • Identify and realize opportunities for organic account growth • Utilize data to drive agency recommendations and idea generation Leadership & Teamwork • Proactively seeks out professional development opportunities and skillset growth • Flex between teams / management styles. Use team meetings as an opportunity to share knowledge and to keep team engaged • Support the team in delivering programs by driving the quality and direction of the team on day today basis • Provide direct and constructive feedback to team members, giving opportunities to grow through stretching their abilities • Coach, mentor, and motivate junior team members You Will Bring: • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or health / science related field or equivalent experience • 6+ years' communications or related marketing / advocacy / health experience; US/global health issues or health product communications experience • Ability to work cooperatively across teams • Experience managing resources and budgets • Experience with media relations strategy and social media landscape • Demonstrated keen critical thinking skills and proactivity • Recognized project management ability • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Proactive, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented mindset • Passion about improving lives through innovations in health • An understanding of current issues in domestic and global health Inizio Evoke Comms provides an exciting and flexible work environment, great compensation packages and outstanding company paid benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), tuition reimbursement and flexible time off. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.
