SummaryThe Senior Vice President, Account Direction is a senior leadership role within the Account Direction organization, reporting to the EVP, Account Direction. This role is responsible for leading a team that manages enterprise client relationships with the goal of maintaining clients, driving revenue growth, and strengthening account leadership across the region.
The scope of the role-supporting significant enterprise revenue portfolios and leading senior account talent-is aligned with SVP-level expectations. The SVP will play a critical role in enhancing leadership capacity, improving account support, and enabling the organization to effectively scale in line with business demands.
This position will support our Account Direction team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Grand Prairie, TX.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship & Revenue Leadership- Drive revenue maintenance and growth across a portfolio of enterprise accounts
- Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships
- Lead account strategy, including cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
- Serve as a senior leader across the full client lifecycle
- Partner with account teams to ensure strong execution, client satisfaction, and growth
- Act as an executive sponsor for key accounts as needed
- Participate in client engagements and industry events
Account Leadership & Team Support- Strengthen leadership capacity in Account Direction, ensuring effective support for both clients and internal teams
- Provide guidance and leadership to account leaders to enhance performance and development
- Help rebalance span of control and improve leadership effectiveness across the region
- Support talent development, engagement, and retention within the Account Direction team
- Foster strong cross-functional partnerships to support client delivery
Strategic Growth & Planning- Partner with the EVP, Account Direction and CGO to align on growth priorities
- Support sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking across individuals and accounts
- Identify opportunities to drive growth, improve productivity, and enhance account effectiveness
- Lead or support key initiatives that advance enterprise growth and operational efficiency
Operational Leadership- Drive execution of key priorities across the region
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
- Ensure alignment, accountability, and follow-through across teams
- Provide strategic input and insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred
- 15-20 years of experience, including:
- 10+ years in account leadership, sales, or revenue-generating roles
- Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts
- Experience operating at a senior leadership level
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and managing client relationships
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage multi-level audiences and convey rationale for decisions.
- Ability to work with confidential information and remain composed under changing circumstances with limited context.
- Strategic thinker, problem solver and a nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions.
- Excels at building relationships and networks; influences others to achieve outcomes; strong emotional intelligence.
- Strong organizational agility
- Effective at supporting complex multi-stakeholder planning processes, driving cross-team collaboration to desired results, and mitigating risk
- Experience with operations and budget management
- Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
- A proven ability to take an idea from inception to completion while effectively and efficiently communicating with various departments
- Exceptional program/project management skills including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, communications, procurement, human resources/talent acquisition and integration management
- Proficient technical skills including financial spreadsheets, word processing, databases, presentation applications and social media platforms
