We are seeking an Access Manager!

Southeastern, OH

The Access Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, development, and continuous improvement of access to care systems across multiple programs and regions.

The Access Manager leads intake and referral teams and works cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to design, standardize, and optimize workflows that improve access, reduce barriers, and enhance the overall client experience.

The salary range for this position is $75,505.00 to $90,734.00 per year, based on experience.
Essential Functions
  • Oversee referral, intake, and scheduling processes across multiple service lines
  • Supervise and develop intake coordinators/specialists and team leads across the service area
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives of referral and intake teams
  • Provide coaching, training opportunities, performance management, progressive discipline, and professional development
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve timely access to care across programs and regions
  • Analyze referrals, capacity, and service utilization data to inform decision-making
  • Identify system gaps and lead initiatives to improve access, efficiency, and client flow through change management initiatives
  • Partner with senior leadership to align access strategies with organizational goals
  • Ensure appropriate oversight of triaging and placement processes based on client needs and program criteria
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (e.g., time to intake, referral conversion, no-show rates) and quality metrics to various levels of the organization
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centered service
  • Partner with clinical, outreach, and operations teams to ensure seamless client transitions
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure adherence to assessment standards, including CANS and intake processes where applicable
  • Maintain a focus on equitable access and tailored service delivery
  • Travel within designated service areas
  • All other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Education/ Licensure:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, behavioral health, or a related field is required
  • A master's degree in healthcare administration, behavioral health, or a related field is required

Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in behavioral health, healthcare access, or a related field is required
  • 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field is required
  • Experience in program coordination, systems improvement, or operations management is required
  • Experience working across multiple teams or programs is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency with EHR systems, databases, and Microsoft Office tools is required
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making are required
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is required
  • Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle are required
  • An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required
  • The ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required
  • The ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection is required

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is required
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
