Position Summary

The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences is looking for a renal pathologist to join the clinical practice of UBMD Pathology. The ideal candidates should be comfortable in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cases in surgical pathology.

Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include:
  • General and subspecialty sign out
  • Autopsy pathology
  • Frozen section performance


Select areas of Laboratory Medicine Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in:
  • Multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Residency teaching and oversight
  • Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching


Minimum Qualifications

MD, DO or equivalent - Nephropathology fellowship training - AP/CP Board eligibility or certification
