Job Description

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is conducting a search for a full-time Abdominal Core Health & Metabolic Surgeon to join the Department of Surgery.

We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible general surgeon who has completed fellowship training in Abdominal Wall Reconstruction and Minimally Invasive Bariatric Surgery. Working within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team of physicians and allied health professionals, the successful candidate will help grow and advance our established practice in the management of complex abdominal wall hernias using open, laparoscopic, and robotic approaches. The surgeon's clinical practice will also include bariatric surgery. Prior experience in these areas is preferred.

The position offers significant opportunities for involvement in surgical education, including teaching within the Advanced GI and Hernia & Abdominal Wall Surgery Fellowship and the ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program.
