Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated engineer with expertise in physics and/or applied math. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and hands-on experience with hardware systems and/or embedded software. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of advanced aerospace systems in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Job responsibilities include the following:
- Strong foundation in electro-optical, infrared, or related sensor technologies
- Experience in hardware and/or software development
- Knowledge of satellite systems, optical communication, or low-SWaP technologies
- Ability to work across disciplines
- End-to-end hardware system design and analysis
Requirements- B.S. in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Aeronautical Engineering or other relevant technical field. 5 years of experience would be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience with electro-optical systems, sensors, imaging technologies, or optical communications
- This is an on-site, collaborative role
Preferred Qualifications- Prior work with space systems, autonomous vehicles, or robotics
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and/or MATLAB
- Demonstrated ability to solve broad technical problems and complex engineering challenges
Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $100,200-$120,000
Experienced Hiring Range: $100,200-$150,000
