Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

FT position available, D/E/N, 36 hours, weekends and holidays per unit policy, experienced RN 2 preferred

Become part of a nursing team dedicated to the care of children with hematologic/oncologic diseases. Leading care of the pediatric patient/family is challenging and requires strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills. Will need to attain diverse competencies & function as an important member of the pediatric interdisciplinary team. Must be committed to patient & family centered care. Pediatric and/or acute experience preferred.
