Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Industry certification such as COMPTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA).
• Experience in configuring and maintaining TACLANE devices and products from Watchguard, Arista, and Netgear.
• Proficient in managing devices from major networking equipment and firewall vendors.
• Expertise in maintaining Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking devices and policies.
• Skilled in using automated methods for deploying and maintaining network equipment.
• Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys individually or as part of a team to configure network systems.
• Research and evaluate networking technologies and assess customer networks.
• Generate actionable recommendations based on evaluated research outcomes.
• Design and plan moderately complex network systems, advocating for necessary resources.
• Create clear network diagrams to communicate network architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex network issues efficiently.
• Support other duties as assigned in alignment with work scope.
