Position Summary
Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy seeks a dynamic and faith-centered full-time 3rd Grade Teacher. The teacher is responsible for providing standards-based instruction across all core subject areas, including Religion, while fostering a supportive, engaging, and language-rich classroom environment.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and committed to integrating Catholic values and bilingual education practices into all aspects of teaching and learning. Candidates should embrace the mission and vision of dual-language immersion education and support students in becoming confident bilingual learners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in all core subject areas, including Religion
• Foster a positive classroom environment that supports academic, social-emotional, spiritual, and language development
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and monitor student progress
• Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student learning and progress
• Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
• Integrate technology to enhance student learning and engagement
• Support student participation in prayer, liturgies, service projects, and school-wide activities
• Supervise students and participate in school events and community-building activities as assigned
• Uphold school and Archdiocesan policies and expectations
• Model Catholic values and professional conduct in all interactions
• Support the school's dual-language immersion mission and commitment to bilingual education

Qualifications

Required:
• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Knowledge of Common Core State Standards and instructional best practices
• Understanding of elementary student development, particularly at the 3rd grade level
• Spanish language proficiency and willingness to support bilingual learning environments
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction
• Proficiency with educational technology tools
• Final candidates must provide evidence of academic preparation completed in Spanish, such as a degree from an accredited institution where Spanish was the primary language of instruction, or demonstrate equivalent proficiency through an approved assessment aligned to ACTFL standards

Preferred:
• Practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education
• Experience in Catholic or faith-based education
• Experience in bilingual or dual-language immersion settings
• Experience with differentiated instruction and project-based learning
• Experience or awareness of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $60,000 - $105,000 (budgeted amount: approximately $65,000).

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant skills, prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
