ARSIEM is looking for a highly motivated
Senior Software Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments. This position will support one of our government clients in Fort Meade, MD.
Responsibilities- Develop capabilities designed to help solve common problems arising from various analyst offices.
- Prototype development to extend enterprise services, support analytics, enhance machine learning, and develop commercial cloud solutions.
- Support the integration and evaluation of open source, emerging technologies, and new COTS applications.
- Work directly with customers, developers, or data scientists to gather requirements and feedback.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Computer Science (CS) degree or related field.
- Strong development experience in a variety of languages (ex., Java, Python).
- Experience integrating with customer's cloud-based data systems.
- Experience installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications- Modeling experience
- Machine Learning experience
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
- Dev experience on Linux platforms
- Analytics development experience
- Virtual Machine (VM) experience
$216,000 - $241,000 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other laws.
