Job Description

CACI has an immediate opportunity for a Software Test Engineer to join a team in the Ft. Meade area. As a member of a cross-functional team, you will analyze system requirements to develop evaluation and test plans/procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis of test results. Create Test and Evaluation (T&E) strategy, Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments and T&E Reports. The position located in Columbia, MD in support of the Data Transport System (DTS) portfolio providing the infrastructure, data protocols and applications required to move time-critical data in near real-time. These activities are provided for the local stakeholders as well as the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal partners.

Working with software engineers, system engineers, platform engineers, system administrators, and other test engineers you will validate development and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities in this role will include, but may not be limited to:
• Planning and Execution of Performance Analysis
• Specifying, validating, and adapting Modeling and Simulation for Test and Engineering (T&E) use
• Applying Statistical Analysis of variations in performance behavior factors to characterize confidence in performance estimates
• Execute the evaluation plan on data collected by the Testing Tasks
• Plan and Execute Performance Data Collection
• Plan and program event level testing for collection of data required for analysis and to synch T&E events with supported decision points
• Establish and employ Data & Configuration Management capabilities
• Produce Evaluation Plans (metric framework, scenarios/threads, timelines, requirements/T&E cross-walk), Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, Status reports; provide input to Government T&E products (e.g., Technology Readiness Assessments, Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, T&E Plans & Procedures and Test Readiness Reports)

Qualifications

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 2 - 8 years of testing experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Current TS/SCI with Poly clearance
• Current IAT Level II certification is required such as Sec+
• 1 - 3 years' experience testing products written in Java or GoLang (U)
• 1- 5 years' experience testing in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system
• Experience in one (1) or more of the following ten (10): Public Key Enabling (PKE); RESTful services and containers (Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), Java programming language, Perl programing language , Java EE, Secure web (SSL) and file encryption, LDAP (RedHat directory) Java, Linux (CentOS), Modern IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, etc.), Agile Scrum process

• Use of automated testing tools like Selenium a plus
• Knowledge of ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka a plus
