What You Will Do
- As a 2nd shift production supervisor your essential responsibilities will include:
- Safety and Quality: Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring all products meet quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervising, training, and motivating hourly associates to achieve performance objectives and developing them for increased responsibility/proficiency.
- Operational Efficiency: Planning and organizing resources to meet production schedules, minimizing waste, and driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing).
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate training records, time logs, and job performance documentation.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving operational issues and coordinating with support functions such as Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, & Planning daily.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making experience
Qualifications We Prefer
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Familiarity with production management software (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite, and specific industry principles like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is desired
- Experience in a complex electronics environment dealing with circuit card assemblies and end-item assembly

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
