Job Description:We have multiple openings for a 2nd and 3rd Shift Logistics Production Manager at our Sanford facilities. In this role, you will lead a team in improving processes and systems and the manufacturing of the products produced in the facility. You will oversee and coordinate the activities of a complex production line, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards.
What you can look forward to doing in this role:- Monitors and improves warehouse safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processes
- Ensures production material is procured and distributed to meet production schedules
- Increases production efficiency through continuous improvement and waste elimination
- Determine overtime needs and priorities when resources are insufficient.
- Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule
- Implements, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification, and others
- Actively deploys section value stream improvements
- Develop and deploy standard work for each work area
- Practices and teaches CPS Guiding Principles
- Initiates and conducts process improvement dialogs with Team Leads and Team Members
- Drives root cause corrective action projects and continuous improvement
- Leads section status reporting and monitors / audits section metrics
- Leads the creation, implementation and training of standard work procedures
- Manage outbound shipments for multiple customer types, including processing, systems, and required documentation for overseas shipments
- Report section status and monitors and audits related metrics

- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Additional Information:The primary location for this position is Sanford, NC.
The shifts available are either Four- 10 hour shifts or Five- 8 hour shifts.
There is an 8% Shift Premium for 2nd & 3rd Shift roles.
The first few weeks of training will be on 1st Shift from 600AM-400PM

Summary Pay Range:$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
