We are looking for a QA Test Lead to join our growing team in Canada.
Location: Remote - Canada
We are seeking an experienced QA Test Lead to support critical customer projects approaching UAT and Go-Live phases. The ideal candidate will lead quality assurance efforts, drive production readiness initiatives, and work closely with Agile implementation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead test planning, test suite reviews, and quality assurance activities for customer implementations.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing efforts.
- Perform quality risk assessments and develop QA stabilization plans for projects nearing production.
- Review and refine existing test strategies, test plans, and test coverage.
- Coordinate production release validation and rapid issue triage activities.
- Identify and mitigate quality risks impacting project timelines and go-live readiness.
- Update and enhance UAT test plans, scripts, and execution processes as needed.
- Monitor project quality metrics and proactively address testing bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful production deployments.
Deliverables- Production Readiness Test Strategy
- Standardized UAT Test Packs (test scripts, templates, execution approach)
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plans
- Lessons Learned and Quality Improvement Recommendations
Required Qualifications- 7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Proven experience leading UAT and End-to-End testing initiatives.
- Strong expertise in test planning, test strategy development, and defect management.
- Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to assess quality risks and drive production readiness activities.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS)/ERP platforms.
- Higher Education or Education domain experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale implementation or transformation projects.
