2027 Summer Internship 6 Consultant Relations Group Analyst, US

Are you ready to jump-start your career in investment finance while making real impact?As a Consultant Relations Group Analyst intern, you will help support the relationships between PIMCO, investment consultants, and broader client-facing teams.
You 2reeligible to apply if you:
Are pursuing an undergraduate degree and will be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester (August 2027 6 December 2027)
Must be able to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 6 August 2028
Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent, at an accredited 4-year college or university
Are business proficient in English

Throughout the summer, 2llbuild relationships across teams, strengthen your analytical and communication skills, and developa strong foundationfor a potential long-term career in consultant relations, client management, product strategy, or other client-facing roles.
Whatyou 2lldo:
Analyze performance data, market trends, and investment strategies to support insights that can be communicated to consultants and clients
Conduct research on investment productsand market conditionsto help inform consultant relations strategy and presentations
Help prepare reports and updates for Account Managers that summarize PIMCO 2s investment performance, strategy changes, and market outlook
Stay informed about market developments and trends toprovidetimelyinsights that can be shared with consultants
Partner with teams across PIMCO to gather information and support a cohesive consultant relations approach
Manage multiple priorities with urgency, sound judgment, professionalism, and strong attention to detail
You 2llthrive here as a CRG Analyst intern if you:
Have a strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance
Bring a client service mindset anda strong senseof urgency when responding to requests
Can gather, analyze, and discuss market trends and data clearly and professionally
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and build rapport with team members and consultants
Are collaborative, organized, adaptable, accountable, and attentive to detail
Take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, professional environment
Demonstrateproficiencywith Microsoft Excel and ademonstratedinterest in using data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to solve problems and improve outcomes
Have taken finance or capital markets coursework, which is recommended but notrequired
Additionalprofessional development note:In addition to client servicing responsibilities, many members of the Consultant Relations Groupseektoparticipatein the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program through the CFA Institute.
The PIMCO Internship Experience:
The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program
During Week 1,you 2llparticipatein PIMCO Fundamentals Training, providing you with the skills, knowledge, and relationships that will prepare you for success
Alongside your colleagues,participatein PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering, developed to heighten the impact of our employees' worldwide volunteer efforts
Join us for a variety of cross-divisional education, networking, and social events
Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team offer guidance and mentorship throughout the summer
You will build future-ready skills by using AI-powered tools from day one, supported by training that strengthens critical thinking, analytical capabilities, and professional judgment
You 2llreceive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process to keep you on the path to meeting your summer goals

What to expect during the interview process:
After we receive your application, we will conductan initialreview of your resume
If you are selected to move forward, you will take a cognitive assessment andhave the opportunity toshowcaseyour interests, skills, and personality by completing a one-way video interview
Once you complete the assessment and one-way video interview, you will have a final round of live interviews via video conference. These interviews typically include both behavioral and technical questions
