Position Summary

The Business Development Associates Program (BDAP) is a 2-year full-time rotational program that will give you the opportunity to build a breadth of business development experience across the company. You will be part of a dynamic learning environment that provides high visibility to senior management and enables Business Development Associates to organically build both mentoring relationships with managers and peers and a strong alumni network within the company.

Program participants will gain a comprehensive, well-rounded skill set designed to prepare them for leadership roles in business development. Successful completion of the program positions individuals for possible career growth and expanded leadership opportunities within the organization. By cultivating leaders who can drive innovation and contribute to the company's long-term success, the program offers both personal and organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities

Participants in the Business Associates Program will gain exposure to the Corporate Development and Transactions sub-departments in Business Development. These teams play a critical role in driving the company's growth strategy by pursuing and executing transactions that enhance BMS's capabilities, expand its portfolio, and strengthen its competitive position in the market. The focus for participants in this program will be to learn and support various deal types and projects by gaining the critical skills needed to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic corporate initiatives. The participants may work on projects within M&A, divestitures, in-licensing, out-licensing, our equity portfolio and more. Participants will be part of the teams that are responsible for assessing, recommending, and executing strategic deals and agreements that further support BMS's growth and market leadership.

This program provides a tailored experience designed to leverage your academic background and interests while contributing to BMS's mission and strategic goals.

Qualifications & Experience
• Candidates must be on track to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree during the current academic year and graduate by Spring 2027. This opportunity is open only to MBA Class of 2027 students.
• Candidates who have already graduated or who are expected to graduate in 2028 or later are not eligible.
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years' work experience and strong intellectual, financial and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new and complex concepts.
• Demonstrate business acumen with proven capability to effectively communicate and adapt messages to suit various leadership audiences.
• Capability to effectively solution and pivot quickly to influence decision making
• Must have the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization; ability to seamlessly collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on multiple different projects
• Leadership potential is highly valued, and a commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork is required.
• Successful candidates will also demonstrate financial modeling skills and the ability to quickly learn financial/accounting software.
• Strong time management skills, including the ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Compensation Overview:

Princeton - NJ - US: $103,700 - $125,660

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully - carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, you may be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefit plans - including wellbeing support, retirement and financial protection benefits, and insurance offerings (medical, dental, vision, life and disability).

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs. Eligible employees also enjoy an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
