📘 Your Development JourneyImmersive Training (First 13 Weeks)You'll begin your journey with a
13-week, in-person training program in Peoria, Illinois, where you will:
- Build foundational knowledge of Caterpillar products, services, and customers
- Develop strong consultative, communication, and leadership skills
- Learn how to partner effectively with dealers and customers to solve real-world challenges
- Connect with peers, mentors, and business leaders across Caterpillar
🔄 Rotational ExperiencesAfter training, you'll rotate through multiple assignments across Caterpillar, gaining hands-on experience in:
- Strategy
- Products and services
- Dealer and customer support
Each rotation is designed to expand your perspective and prepare you for success in the field.
🎯 Field Placement & Role ProgressionUpon completing your rotations, you'll move into a field-based role, fully equipped to:
- Partner with Caterpillar dealers
- Drive strategy alignment and customer loyalty
- Manage relationships and assigned territory with confidence

Provides technical expertise to resolve customer challenges while supporting dealers and customers in the field.
- Industry Sales Representative (ISR)
Leads prime product (machine or engine) sales for a specific industry segment, with responsibility for dealer support, marketing, and overall sales performance.
- Aftermarket Sales Representative (ASR)
Drives Caterpillar's services growth strategy by increasing parts and service sales. Partners closely with dealers to expand aftermarket opportunities across RISST, CI, and E&T.
- Industry Aftermarket Representative (IAR)
Supports dealer success by analyzing aftermarket operations and recommending strategies to improve service performance and profitability.
Helps dealers achieve rental operational excellence by conducting detailed assessments and providing targeted recommendations that directly impact rental performance and profitability.
- Product Support Operations Representative (PSOR)
Focuses on optimizing product support strategies and execution to enhance customer experience and dealer effectiveness.
- Marketing & Sales Operations Representative (MSOR)
Enables commercial success through data-driven insights, process optimization, and execution of marketing and sales initiatives.
- Digital Adoption Representative (DAR)
Advances digital capabilities by supporting the implementation and adoption of digital tools, analytics, and connected solutions.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Must currently be participating in a Caterpillar Student & Graduate Program
- Minimum GPA of 2.8/4.0 (if applicable)
- Willingness to travel extensively (50-75%)
- Willingness to relocate domestically based on business needs
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Summary Pay Range:$81,370.00 - $169,060.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
