Rotational Program - Nuveen: Real EstateThe Analyst, Nuveen Real Estate Program is an early career opportunity designed for individuals interested in commercial real estate investing and portfolio management. Through rotational assignments across the real estate platform, associates develop a broad understanding of the investment lifecycle while gaining experience in areas such as acquisitions, asset management, research, sustainability, portfolio management, and debt investments. The program combines hands-on project work, professional development, mentorship, and senior leadership interaction to prepare associates for long-term careers within Nuveen Real Estate.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- The Nuveen Real Estate Program is designed to develop future real estate investment professionals through a structured combination of hands-on experience, technical training, mentorship, and exposure to key functions across the Nuveen Real Estate platform. Associates build foundational commercial real estate knowledge while working alongside experienced professionals and gaining broad visibility into the real estate investment business.
- During the program, associates primarily support Portfolio Management while gaining exposure to other areas of the business, including Fund Finance, Client Services & Investor Relations, Sector Teams, and Data Governance. Associates participate in meaningful projects that support investment activities, portfolio operations, business processes, reporting, and strategic initiatives across the platform. Rotational assignments and exposure opportunities are determined based on business needs and organizational priorities and are not guaranteed.
- The program includes structured learning and development opportunities designed to build foundational commercial real estate, financial, and business knowledge. During their first months with the firm, associates participate in a combination of formal training, technical upskilling, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences. Development opportunities may include Advanced Excel, AI tools, data governance platforms, Yardi, Workiva, and other industry-relevant technologies. Associates receive ongoing performance feedback, professional coaching, and mentorship throughout the program.
- As associates progress through the program, they deepen their understanding of Portfolio Management and the broader real estate investment business while expanding their professional network and industry expertise. The program is designed to prepare high-performing associates for long-term career opportunities within Nuveen Real Estate, with final placement decisions determined based on business needs, individual performance, and available opportunities.

Anticipated Posting End Date:Base Pay Range: $80,000/yr - $90,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
