Northrop Grumman is seekingan Associate EngineerSystems. This position will belocatedat ourAeronautics Systems sectorinMelbourne, FL. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman27sSystems Engineering organization.

The selected candidate willperform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.Other duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform analyses at all levels of total system product toinclude:concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation,maintenanceand disposal.

  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meetALL ofthebelow criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed theirBachelor27sdegree from an accredited institutionby August 2027.

  • Be majoring in or having majored inAerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics,or similar STEM degree.

  • Be able to obtain andmaintaina U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonableperiod of time, asdeterminedby the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Governmentsecurity clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access maybe requiredto start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.

  • Previousinternship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Pay Range:

$65,800 - $98,800/year
