Full Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
  • Produce or assist in the production of key analyses, error-free financial models, and other work product;

  • Actively supports Partner/VP/Associate on deal execution and portfolio company issues;

  • Takes ownership of investment timeline, work plan and specific workstreams; manage assigned tasks with limited oversight and takes initiative;

  • Work with Partner/VP/Associate to scope diligence assignments and then oversee day to day process;

  • Monitor flash reports and monthly financials, identifying areas of concern or issues for discussion;

  • Demonstrate commercial insight such as identifying key issues, articulating and defending deal theses, and structuring work plans;

  • Ensures consistency across internal and external data sources;

  • Execute preliminary desktop diligence processes through management meetings, site visits and ongoing communication with key management personnel;

  • Review key diligence areas and implement execution of financial, accounting, legal, market and confirmatory diligence streams; and

  • Monitor consumer industry reports/publications, summarizing key developments and industry trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must have:

  • Prior internship experience, ideally from an investment bank, management consulting firm or private equity firm;

  • Strong analytical problem solver;

  • Outstanding communications skills and the ability to collaborate with various parties;

  • Exceptional integrity, professionalism and character;

  • Highly developed problem-solving skills and demonstrated critical thinking ability; and

  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels
