The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our team integrates hardware and software, develops test plans and procedures, debugs and evaluates system functions and interfaces, and verifies system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts. You will support elements of program development, engineering testing, integration, flight-testing, production, system deployment, and/or post deployment support across the product lifecycle.
This position is an onsite role in Huntsville, AL. Test event support activity may require travel which is not expected to exceed 20%.
What You Will Do
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering, program, and product teams to support system integration and test activities.
Operate tactical systems and associated simulators/stimulators.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system anomalies through structured debugging and data‑driven analysis.
Integrate hardware and/or software into a tactical system and evaluate the functionality and impact of these changes.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, execute test plans and procedures, analyze collected data, and clearly communicate results and recommendations.
Coordinate and interface with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and cross‑program partners.
Travel up to 20% to support system integration, testing, vendor visits, and customer engagements.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start
Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong undergraduate level understanding of electrical, mechanical and/or software system integration.
Experience with or exposure to radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems.
Experience with tools, such as MATLAB or Python scripting, for instrumentation and collection of large data sets, data analysis and automation.
Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols.
Experience with Linux operating systems.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
