Program Overview:
Commercial Banking provides credit, treasury management, and corporate and investment banking solutions to businesses with sales generally greater than $25 million. The Commercial Banking Early Career Development Program is a two-year program where you will gain exposure to the various Commercial Banking lines of business and their partners while supporting dedicated teams through four six-month rotations. The program will promote professional development and business skills acquisition through on-the-job experience as well as formal in-person and virtual training, including a foundational introduction to credit and banking fundamentals.
In the Commercial Banking Early Career Development Program, you will:
Rotate across several Commercial Banking business areas to acquire diverse experiences and insights as well as determine the roles that align to your career interests. You may be involved in sales, credit, product, or strategic activities such as:
Participating in the sourcing, structuring, underwriting, and execution of low complexity multi-million-dollar credit transactions as an active member of the deal team.
Conducting due diligence, analyzing financial statements, building financial models, and determining risk ratings to prepare comprehensive memos that support credit recommendations.
Collaborating and consulting with colleagues and managers to complete deliverables, resolve issues, and help deliver business initiatives, communications, and other materials to internal stakeholders and clients.
Program Structure:
You will begin the program in one of our ten regional locations. Following the foundational training, you will enter your first of four six-month rotations in select business areas over the course of two years.
Post Program:
The Commercial Banking Early Career Development Program is designed to promote a long-term career at Wells Fargo through broad exposure to the business and its career paths as well as professional and technical development. After successfully completing the program, analysts will be prepared for a multitude of roles, including Relationship Manager, Business Development Officer, Portfolio Manager, Business Execution Consultant, Credit Product Sales Specialist, Credit Product Portfolio Specialist, and others.

Required Qualifications, US:
6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative, change driven environment.
Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement.
