The Medway Public Schools is seeking a Curriculum Instructional Leader for the [redacted] school year. About the Position Performance Responsibilities
- Leads alignment of classroom content and curriculum with current standards and curriculum frameworks.
- Facilitates content meetings and leads ongoing discussions and assessments of current practices around student data.
- Provides feedback and recommendations to building principals and district administrators regarding best practices and professional development needs.
- Demonstrates various kinds of instructional and assessment materials and methods for classroom use. Acquaints himself/herself with the available instructional materials and supplies that may enhance the learning of teachers and students assigned.
- Facilitates curriculum mapping in content areas.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the principal and/or Superintendent
Education and Experience:
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure specific to assignment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities aimed at aligning practices and targeting improvement strategies in response to student data and best practices.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the superintendent or school committee may find appropriate and acceptable.
