Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of servicemen assigned to plant and quarry operations.
  • Assign work priorities and ensure housekeeping, cleanup, and maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Promote and enforce all company safety policies, MSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and safe work practices.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings, job briefings, and workplace inspections.
  • Train, mentor, coach, and evaluate employees on safe work practices, job performance, and equipment operation.
  • Assist in employee development, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and disciplinary processes when necessary.
  • Schedule work assignments to meet operational and maintenance priorities while minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, production, and operations personnel to support plant reliability and production goals.
  • Ensure proper operation of mobile equipment including, but not limited to:Bobcat/skid steer loaders
  • Forklifts
  • Power sweepers
  • Pickup trucks
  • Other authorized mobile equipment
  • Oversee cleanup of material spills throughout the plant and quarry.
  • Supervise housekeeping activities to maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Coordinate cleaning of dust collectors and assist with kiln preheater lancing, conveyor cleanup, and material flow issues as required.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance inspections are completed on mobile equipment, tools, and assigned assets.
  • Verify employees properly inspect equipment before use and report maintenance deficiencies.
  • Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, and housekeeping materials.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of hand tools and power tools.
  • Assist maintenance personnel with carpentry, painting, plumbing, and other facility maintenance projects as needed.
  • Complete work orders, inspection reports, safety documentation, and employee records accurately and timely.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and equipment damage and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Directly supervises servicemen personnel.
  • Plans and assigns daily work activities.
  • Provides employee coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Conducts performance evaluations.
  • Assists with hiring, onboarding, and employee development.

Pay range: $75,410-$94,265
