SummaryThe Manager, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering is responsible for leading and managing the employees who execute the development and/or sourcing of manufacturing equipment to support manufacturing operations goals. Scope of team being managed may include design and development of equipment, qualification, deployment to manufacturing, improving performance and supporting programs to optimize efficiencies while maintaining a safe working environment.
Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, direct work assignments and assist with problem resolution for the full customer product life cycle. Support for all manufacturing technical issues related to the product manufacturing conception up to product manufacturing obsolescence from an equipment perspective.
- Work with Process and Quality leaders to ensure the equipment plan meets customer product specifications and capacity targets. Evaluate potential manufacturing impact for each design concept.
- May also be considered as the Subject Matter Expert in the company for specific Automation manufacturing.
- Responsible for the best practice standard development, participate in Industry organizations for developing the standards and provide training and application support globally.
- Drive the Equipment Opportunities and liaise with multiple stakeholders including solution providers for design, technical information and specifications.
- Responsible for the on time performance (OPT) delivery of the Automation project portfolio.
- Responsible for site level equipment capacity planning, capital equipment plans and overall technical leader for Manufacturing Operations Equipment planning and execution
- Set yearly plans and goals for the department and give direction on expected performance and provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback. Accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets for key performance indicators.

Typical Experience- 7 to 10 years of related experience;Experience in similar job roles
Typical EducationBachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
