Support and draft program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives; assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
Attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare and report on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards; utilizes business and technical methodologies to provide support of hardware, software and service acquisition and life cycle management.
Assist Information Assurance Manager with installing patches and run vulnerability assessments on Windows and Linux based platforms using Assured Computing Assessment Solution (ACAS) vulnerability scanner, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC) scripts as required.
Design and document network architectures comprised of network topologies, network devices, client machines, and servers; analyze patterns of noncompliance and take appropriate administrative or programmatic actions to minimize security risks and insider threats.

This position supports PMA-273 and various T-45 avionics upgrades. Has programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems and guide the engineering development of modern complex systems; and to employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems.
As the sole Software/Web Developer on the team, you will be responsible for devising new applications and tailoring software/web search techniques to better access and collect open source information in targeted searches against designated subject areas.
