The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) is a public academic health science center in San Antonio, Texas. It was established in 1959 and is part of the University of Texas System. UT Health San Antonio is composed of five schools: the Long School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, the School of Dentistry, the School of Health Professions, and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. The institution offers more than 65 degrees, certificates, and concentrations in the health sciences. UT Health San Antonio is also home to several research centers and institutes, including the Cancer Therapy & Research Center, the Greehey Children's Cancer Research Institute, and the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies.
