The University of South Florida (USF) is a public research university in Tampa, Florida. It is part of the State University System of Florida and has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) since 1947. USF is also a member institution of the Association of American Universities. Founded in 1956, USF is the fourth-largest public university in the state of Florida, with an enrollment of 50,577 as of the 2018?2019 academic year.
