The United States Army Sustainment Command (ASC) is a specialized command of the United States Army responsible for the management and distribution of supplies and equipment to soldiers around the world. The command is headquartered at Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois and has a workforce of approximately 5,000 military and civilian personnel. ASC is responsible for a wide range of programs, including the management of the Army's supply chain, the distribution of equipment and supplies to soldiers in the field, and the maintenance and repair of Army vehicles and equipment. The command also provides support to other branches of the military and to civilian agencies in the areas of logistics and supply chain management.
